AlBaraka Symposium Was Established by Sheikh Saleh Abdullah Kamel (1941-2020)
He planted the symposium’s seed and cared for by himself for forty years.
The late Sheikh Saleh Kamel is one of the most important pioneers of Islamic economy, rather he is the only pioneer who got interest at all areas of the Islamic economy, especially the development of knowledge and innovation.
The list of his non-profit activities included unprecedented achievements, due to the comprehensiveness of his vision, and his far sightedness and his aspiration towards a global future for Islamic finance in particular and the Islamic economy in general.
