The Training Program: The Journey of Transforming a Conventional Bank into an Islamic Bank

AlBaraka Forum for Islamic Economy, in collaboration with Islamic Chamber Training Academy, will conduct the training program: “The Journey of Transforming a Conventional Bank into an Islamic Bank”
Delivered by a distinguished group of experts in the field:
  • Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim, CEO of AlBaraka Forum for Islamic Economy.
  • Prof. Fayyad Abdel-Moneim Hassanein, Former Egyptian Minister of Finance, Professor of Economics, The Faculty of Commerce, Al-Azhar University, The economic advisor of AlBaraka Forum.
  • Dr. Hassanein Abdel-Moneim Hassanein, Member of the Shariah Supervisory Board at AlBaraka Bank Egypt, and several other Shariah boards, Head of Shariah Compliance and Auditing at AlBaraka Bank.
The program is presented to the members of the Shariah Supervisory Board and Shariah auditing Libyan North Africa Bank. The program aims to equip participants with the essential tools to ensure the success of the transformation process through a comprehensive training that combines both theoretical and practical aspects.

Post Event Report of the 2nd Global Islamic Economy Summit in Istanbul

Organized by AlBaraka Forum as part of the AlBaraka Summits series, the event was held from May 30 to June 1, 2025, at Halkbank headquarters, at Istanbul Financial Center under the theme “Islamic Economics Strategies: Path to Influential Global Economy.” Attended by H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, the summit brought together over 1,000 participants from 50 countries, including government officials, diplomats, entrepreneurs, and academics, in a globally significant event marked by rich discussions and strategic partnerships with key Turkish and international institutions.
