With an esteemed gathering of top leaders, experts, and policy makers in the field of Islamic economy, the 4th AlBaraka Forum Regional Conference was held on January 28th 2024 at Marriott Hotel, Karachi, Pakistan, under the theme “Sukuk for Sustainable Development: International Best Practices”. Organized by AlBaraka Forum for Islamic Economy, in collaboration with the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), and with the platinum sponsorship of Al Baraka Bank Pakistan, this landmark event highlighted the transformative role of Islamic finance, particularly Sukuk, in driving sustainable economic growth.
AlBaraka Forum for Islamic Economy in collaboration with Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) will back to Pakistan to host the 4th AlBaraka Forum Regional conference in Pakistan, “SUKUK FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: INTERNATIONAL BEST PRACTICES” on January 28, 2025, at Marquee Hall, Karachi Marriott hotel – Pakistan. This high-level gathering is intended to highlight the significance of Sukuk as and its implications for economic growth and the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals.
Sukuk and sustainable development projects are two important topics increasingly being discussed. Sukuk are Islamic financial instruments that can be used to finance a wide range of projects, including those that are environmentally and socially sustainable. This makes them a potential tool for mobilizing capital for sustainable development.
Our conference on Sukuk and sustainable development projects would be a valuable opportunity to discuss these issues and explore how Sukuk can achieve The SDGs.
