H.E. Mr. Yousef Khalawi, Secretary General of the Al Baraka Forum for Islamic Economy, began the closing speech of AlBaraka Symposium 43 sessions, titled “The Sustainability Authenticity in Islamic Economy,” by thanking the experts, professionals, and academics, praising the research papers presented during the symposium’s activities, and appreciating the recommendations they made as it will aid in the positive step of compiling, drafting, and printing it.

H.E. Secretary-General stated that the Al Baraka Forum for Islamic Economy hosts no less than ten researchers from around the world each year who are invited to attend the AlBaraka symposium, and he urged academics to assist in developing the application and selection criteria that will be applied to the 44th symposium.

He announced the topic of the 44th AlBaraka Symposium, which will be “Maqasid al-Sharia: The Regulatory Framework for Islamic Economy”, so that it is an application and access to partial objectives rather than theorizing.
