H.E. Mr. Yousef Khalawi, Secretary General of the AlBaraka Forum for Islamic Economy, paid a visit to Indonesia to enhance cooperation in the fields of Islamic finance and economics. During his visit, H.E Mr. Yousef held several important meetings, including meetings with officials from the Islamic Economics and Finance Department of the Central Bank of Indonesia (Bank Indonesia), where he met with Ms. Ita Rulina, Director of the of Islamic Economy and Finance Department, and Dr. Rifki Ismal, Deputy Director at Bank Indonesia. The discussions between the two sides aimed to consolidate cooperation and enhance the impact of Islamic finance, as AlBaraka Forum has always appreciated the efforts of Bank Indonesia in supporting Islamic finance, and the Forum continues to build ties for a brighter economic future.
H.E. Mr. Yousef also met with H.E. Mr. Bob Tyasika Ananta, Vice President Director of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), where their meeting aimed to strengthen relations and cooperation between the two parties, and was a unique opportunity to exchange valuable ideas, explore joint project opportunities, and discuss strategies to strengthen the global Islamic financial system.
These recent visits came within the framework of the AlBaraka Forum’s efforts to enhance its international presence and explore opportunities for cooperation and building ties that serve the Islamic economy and enhance its presence as a realistic ethical economy, built on scientific and practical foundations.
